for Straight Dressing
Single layer clusters containing multiple diamonds set in patterns are an economical substitute for large carat-weight singlepoint tools for rough and semi-finnish face and side dressing. Multiple points allow faster traverse and enable the tool to withstand severe use. Multi-layer cluster tools containing 15, 18 or 21 diamonds in three layers are inexpensive and efficient for straight dressing wide wheels. Multipoint tools are especially useful under difficult conditions such as forced production and inexperienced operators. They are suitable for normal and harder wheel bonds. |
